The House
Everyone in one room, at one long table.
It's bigger in person than the photographs let on — high ceilings, light from two sides, garden through the windows. The long chef's kitchen runs straight out to the deck, and the lounge sits within talking distance, so nobody has to leave the conversation to make the coffee.
Cane, books, a reading corner, floors that don't mind sandy feet. Interiors by Anna Spiro — colour, pattern and quiet, in equal measure.

The good stuff

Park at the house, carry the bags in, and that's the hard part done. The beach is a flat, easy walk from the back gate — the unpacking will still be there in an hour, and so will the towels folded in the cupboard.
