A quiet street, off-street parking at the door, and a flat carry from the car to the kitchen bench. The house opens up the moment you cross the threshold — and it is taller and lighter than the photographs suggest.
The House
A house that has learned how a family holiday should feel.
Bigger in person than it photographs — vast ceilings, light through the trees, garden outlooks and rooms with room to spare. Four bedrooms, a long timber table, a rooftop above the trees and a back gate onto the sand. Substantial, but never formal.

Living spaces.
Where the house gathers — from the front gate to the long table, by way of the reading corners, the books and every soft place in between.

Main Living Area
The heart of the house. Vast ceilings, light from two sides, garden through the windows, and deep sofas within talking distance of the kitchen so nobody drifts off on their own. Cane, woven pendants, books on the shelf — layered, joyful and unmistakably Anna Spiro.

Kids TV Room/Lounge
A room of their own — soft seating, a television and the door pulled half-closed. Where the children disappear after the beach and the afternoon quietly gives the adults back to themselves.

Study Nook
A quiet corner for a laptop or a good book, with the garden just outside — a place to work, or to read for an hour, without leaving the flow of the house.

Indoor Dining
One long timber table where lunch tends to become dinner. Seats ten, comfortably.
Chapter Two
The kitchen.
Long, well-stocked, and open to the deck — the room the holiday quietly organises itself around.

Chef-Style Kitchen
A long chef's kitchen that opens straight out to the deck. Benches where four hands can cook at once, and the lounge close enough to keep talking. Two full-size fridges, an oven, a stove, an air-fryer and a microwave — genuinely equipped for a long, slow family week, not just a weekend.
Chapter Three
Bedrooms & bathrooms.
Four bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms — ensuites, walk-in robes, and enough distance between them for everyone to sleep in.

Bedrooms
Four generous bedrooms with ensuites and walk-in robes — a master suite upstairs, a second king (or split twin), and downstairs a queen beside the dedicated bunk room, so parents of little ones are next door without being on top of each other. Far enough apart that the early risers don't wake the rest.

Bathrooms
Three and a half bathrooms, warm materials, easy circulation — and no queue at eight in the morning.
The good stuff
18 Lorikeet Drive
Park at the house, carry the bags in, and that's the hard part done. The beach is a flat, easy walk from the back gate — the unpacking will still be there in an hour, and so will the towels folded in the cupboard.

Chapter Four
Outdoor living.
The holiday usually begins outside — pool, hot tub, rooftop, and a back gate onto the sand.

Indoor/outdoor flow
Doors open, sea breeze through the house, and floors that don't mind wet feet. Palm-shaded, cushion-soft, and lunches that stretch into the afternoon.

A dedicated outdoor kitchen with a Gas BBQ & Teppanyaki fire pit grill set for long, slow evenings around the coals.

Pool
A quiet swimming pool for laps before breakfast and cool-downs in the afternoon.

Magnesium Hot Tub
A magnesium hot tub for after-beach recovery and slow conversations. Warm on the coolest evenings.

A quiet corner of the garden built for the end of the day. Firewood is supplied — you'll only need to remember the marshmallows.

Direct Beach Access
Straight from the back gate to the sand — flat, easy, no road and no car park. Peregian Village is the other way, and there are seven bikes for getting there.

Everything you'd think to pack — and quite a lot you wouldn't.
Forty years of holidays here means we've had time to think about the little things: the beach gear, the books, the games, the bikes, the kitchen that's actually ready to cook in. Nothing is priced as an extra. It's simply part of the house.

It's flat the whole way into Peregian Village — a morning coffee run, an afternoon ride along the coast, fish and chips at sunset. Bells, baskets, and the kind of easy pace that makes the car keys disappear for a week.
To the sand and back
Beach towels folded in the cupboard, beach chairs, an umbrella by the door. A flat, easy walk out the back gate, and an outdoor shower that rinses the salt off before it comes inside. Everything you'd walk down the beach with is already here.
A kitchen ready to cook
Two full-size fridges, coffee ground and waiting, sharp knives, generous pans, the good glassware. Long benches, and the deck just there. Enough of everything for a long Sunday lunch, or a quiet Tuesday breakfast for two.
For the youngest guests
A travel cot, a high chair, small plates and small cups. A bunk room built for cousins, next door to a parents' room. Well-loved board games, children's books on the shelf, toys tucked away for a rainy afternoon. Children arrive as guests here, not as afterthoughts.
Four legs welcome
The dog is family too, so the dog comes. On request, well-mannered pets are welcome — with soft places to sleep, a rinse-off tap by the gate, and the whole beach a few steps away.

The closing chapter
After Sunset.
As the sun disappears behind the dunes, the house quietly changes pace.
The pool lights glow.
The doors stay open.
Dinner moves outside.
