Villa Villa Coola

Families

Everyone together. Nobody on top of each other.

One roof, the whole family, the dog included — and enough space that nobody has to be sociable before breakfast. The children's room sits beside a parents' room downstairs; the other bedrooms are far enough away to stay quiet. Pancake mornings, the pool before unpacking, board games after the beach, and a bunk room the children still argue over at Christmas.

Sleeps 10

Six adults and four children is the happiest balance — and there's still room to spread out.

Master Suite

Upstairs — king, ensuite, walk-in robe, and a good distance from everybody else.

Bedroom 2

King with ensuite, or split as twin singles for siblings or friends.

Bedroom 3

Downstairs, queen with ensuite, one door from the bunk room — the parents-of-little-ones room.

Bedroom 4 — Bunk Room

The children's own room, negotiated over before the bags are down. One of the four bedrooms.

Pool & magnesium hot tub

Cannonballs before lunch. Long soaks after dinner.

Cot & roll-out beds

Porta cot and linen, on request, without fuss.

One conversational room

The long chef's kitchen runs out to the deck, with the lounge within talking distance. Whoever's cooking is still in the conversation.

Games, books & seven bikes

Board games and children's games, books on every shelf, and seven bikes for the flat ride into the village.

The back gate

No road between you and the sand — flat, easy, and worked out by the children on day one.

The dog comes too

Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. A rinse-off tap by the gate, and the beach right there.

Beach gear sorted

Beach towels, chairs and an umbrella already in the cupboard. Park at the house, unload once, and that's it.
