House Rules
A private home is a personal thing. What follows isn't a list of prohibitions — it is the way this house is quietly kept for the next family that walks through the door.
01 · Arrival & Departure
The house is prepared between stays and needs a few uninterrupted hours to look its best. Early arrivals and late departures are sometimes possible — just ask, and we'll do what we can. Access details are sent the day before arrival.
02 · Damage Bond
A modest refundable bond is held before arrival — details confirmed at booking. It is returned in full within seven days of departure, provided the house is left as it was found. Ordinary wear is expected. Real damage, and we'll have an honest conversation.
03 · Occupancy
Four bedrooms and seven beds, comfortably for ten. We ask that guest numbers match the booking. Additional day-guests for a lunch or a birthday are welcome — a quick note by email is all we ask. Villa Villa Coola is not licensed for weddings, parties or functions.
04 · Pets
A well-loved dog is often part of the family. Let us know at booking — breed, size and habits — and we'll confirm. Dogs stay off the beds and linens, and the yard is left as it was found.
05 · Noise & Neighbours
Peregian Beach is a genuinely residential village. Music and laughter are part of the house — please keep the volume neighbourly, and outdoor spaces quiet after 10:00 pm. Council noise regulations apply.
06 · Pool & Spa Safety
The pool is fenced and gate-latched to Queensland standards. Children in and around the pool and magnesium spa must be actively supervised by an adult at all times. The gate stays shut when the pool is not in use.
07 · Guest Responsibilities
Dishes rinsed, benches wiped, bins to the kerb on collection day, and the back gate closed. Housekeeping does a full turnover between stays — a little care in between goes a long way. Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
08 · Access & Security
Access codes are shared the day before arrival and change between stays. Please keep the front and back doors locked when the house is empty, and let us know immediately if anything is not quite right.
